Alec Baldwin is right...I kinda wanna cry

This is troubling news. Last week on Countdown, everyone's favorite sportscaster turned Liberal HACK kinda praised President Bush. Now Alec Baldwin actually said something that made sense, that he didn't READ from a script....... From the Wall Street Journal........


We're constantly told that taxes don't matter to business and investors, but listen to that noted supply-side economist, Alec Baldwin. The actor recently rebuked New York Governor David Paterson for threatening to try to help close the state's $7 billion budget deficit by canceling a 35% tax credit for films shot in the Big Apple.

"I'm telling you right now," Mr. Baldwin declared, "if these tax breaks are not reinstated into the budget, film production in this town is going to collapse, and television is going to collapse and it's all going to go to California." Well, well. Apparently taxes do matter, at least when it comes to filming "30 Rock" in Manhattan.


Tax cuts matter. WHEW. Glad I lived long enough to see that proven. I mean when a liberal icon get's it, debate over right?

The only thing he got wrong is that the state of Michigan is offering better tax incentives than California right now. Bring 30 rock here to the mitt Alec. The only difference between Michigan and California is...................... Hold on...Wait for it....

The biggest fight of the year KRISTOL vs DAMON

Some day's I just feel really bummed out about a lot of things.

The economy
The wars we are fighting
The fact that WHAM will never get back together.

Usually though something will break the dull drums I'm in , the clouds will part, the sun will shine and VOILA ,a lil nugget of joy of a story will land on my lap!!!

”On Sunday afternoon Weekly Standard editor and New York Times columnist Bill Kristol — in an email exchange with Big Hollywood — agreed to debate Matt Damon on his Hollywood home turf after being informed the 38-year old actor ridiculed Kristol in an interview in the Miami Herald.

“He’s an idiot — he wrote that we should be grateful to George Bush because he won the Iraq war. We! Won! The! War!”


Matt Damon just can't help himself. He knows stuff cause he read a script once that had stuff about war and suffering and stuff in it.

I so hope that Damon has the testicular fortitude to take Kristol on. There is no amount of script reading that is going to save his ass from an educational behind whooping that he will get slapped on him by Bill. Just because you heard something from George Clooney and Steven Soderbergh does not make it so Matt my boy.

If he does have the stones to do this I hope it is in public venue cause I would want to go and just yell " MATT DAMON!!!!!!"
