President Hope and Change dumps on the Tea Parties

I know I'm getting to this one lil story a lil late but that is what one week in VEGAS will do to ya.

Last week the President of the United States made his most direct comment about those Tea party protests that sprung up a couple of weeks ago that he knew nothing about in advance.........

Those of you who are watching certain news channels on which I'm not very popular, and you see folks waving tea bags around, Obama said, “let me just remind them that I am happy to have a serious conversation about how we are going to cut our health care costs down over the long term, how we are going to stabilize Social Security.”

First off, if he is referring to FOX news they love you Mr President as I'm sure is borne out by the ratings lead they have over CNN and MSNBC.

Second, stop acting as though a plan you implemented is going to create anything but stagflation and devaluation of the U.S. dollar. If this is not so please cite one example of massive SPENDING and BORROWING and PRINTING of money on a never seen before scale has worked.

I'll wait right here........................................................

Thought so.

As for Social Security , the last shot we had at saving that was in 2005 when Pres Bush attempted something but his own party ran under the covers and hid. Just kiss SS goodbye people. The numbers will never line up, no matter how many times you erase them and try again with your etch-a-sketch calculator.

Just please keep the country safe in the meantime Mr President. Hopefully we can start to elect some adults with vision and guts and not so much style with no substance beginning in 2010!!!

Robert Byrd tells Obama...Bad President

A great post from fellow blogger ADHD about one of my all time favorite KKK former members Robert Byrd right here and his oppostion to President Obama and the SEPARATION of powers

Just to add some thoughts to this. Would Robert Byrd be the longest serving Senator in history if he were a Republican and had said this as a a 27 yr old......

I shall never fight in the armed forces with a Negro by my side... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds. ”

— Robert C. Byrd, in a letter to Sen. Theodore Bilbo (D-MS), 1944,

In case your wondering the answer is NO.

Sure ole Bobby could have had a change of heart about such a stupid statement, only him and the Lord above know for sure. But I can guarn- damn -tee you if he had a R after his name he would have been shown to the curb A LONG TIME ago.

I'm sure he has changed his mind but than again, you never know HMMMMMMMMMMMM....

MO MONEY.. MO MONEY.. SOON TO BE FUNNY MONEY

I have a feeling the best job to have in the Federal Government right now other than the guy who get's to put a muzzle on Joe Biden are the workers in the Federal Treasury printing money. It's the ultimate job security. We will be printing money just to cover this latest crapulus pkg from now until the time the Detroit Lions win a Super Bowl, which would coincide with the return of Jesus.

But that was just the beginning From the Wall Street Journal....

WASHINGTON -- Two weeks after passing a $787 billon economic stimulus plan, Congress returns next week to take up another spending bill, this one with a price tag of $410 billion.

Unlike the emergency recovery plan rushed through Capitol Hill in a matter of weeks, this covers the regular functions of government, from education to agriculture. It is leftover business from the final weeks of the Bush administration, and belatedly sets a formal spending plan for fiscal year 2009, which began Oct. 1.

Are you kidding me? Another $410 billion to try to cover the year till Oct 1st. This is insane and absolutely irresponsible!!!

Reading on in the Journals article right here we find that this is a almost 9 % increase over 2008 spending. This is so going to deflate the dollar and promote inflation that we are in for a world of hurt in more ways than one.

Nice promise on cutting the deficit in half by the end of your first term President Obama. Just promise to Nuke the Iranians now being we know everything coming out of your mouth is pretty much akin to horse poop.

I don't have kids and I feel bad for those of you that do. This is bad, real bad debt wise. We are lumping it on them to make us feel good when we look in the mirror.

We haven't even gotten to Social Security and Medicare crisis to come, God help us all!!!!

Driving Tax get's nixed and Democrats cry

Score one for the good guys...Momentarily. After the announcement last week that Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood wanted to tax drivers by the mile this reversal came from THE ONE'S spokesperson extraordinaire ............

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama on Friday rejected his transportation secretary's suggestion that the administration consider taxing motorists based on how many miles they drive instead of how much gasoline they buy.

"It is not and will not be the policy of the Obama administration," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters, when asked for the president's thoughts about Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood's suggestion, raised in an interview with The Associated Press a daily earlier.

Gasoline taxes that for nearly half a century have paid for the federal share of highway and bridge construction can no longer be counted on to raise enough money to keep the nation's transportation system moving, LaHood told the AP.

"We should look at the vehicular miles program where people are actually clocked on the number of miles that they traveled," the former Illinois Republican lawmaker said in the AP interview.

This really is a great thing. The Federal Govt should not have there greasy lil palms into this, tracking where we go and how we much time we spend on the road. Let the States handle this.

And if they try it in most of the 50 states they will get killed. I know in Michigan if they ever proposed this they would get mauled, beaten, smacked down. It would be a beating the democrats would take years to recover from. I welcome them to try!!

The governments are spending more than enough money on roads. The quality of the workmanship is the problem.

I really hope they try, it's a fight I would LOVE to be in. BRING IT YOU PANSIES....
